Lavender Drift is the softest shoe in the running category, and it's honest about the trade — it gives up some responsiveness to be genuinely comfortable at conversational pace.
The upper is a fine lavender knit with almost no structure beyond a moulded heel counter. It's the lightest running upper we make, which is noticeable on the foot and a liability in wet weather; this is a fair-weather trainer.
The sculpted white midsole is thicker underfoot than Navy Current and softer through the heel. On recovery days that's exactly right. On anything approaching a tempo effort it feels vague, and you'd want the firmer shoe.
