Stone Pulse is the maximal end of the range. The midsole is noticeably taller than anything else here, and the whole shoe is built around staying comfortable when you're on your feet far longer than you planned.
The upper is a crackled, textured synthetic that reads closer to suede than mesh — warmer than the knits, more weather-tolerant, and it hides marks well. It's the shoe in this catalogue we'd pick for airports.
That tall midsole is a genuine trade-off. It's superb for standing, walking and long slow miles, and it makes the shoe less stable on uneven ground than the lower, firmer options. If you want cushioning, this is it; if you want ground feel, take Navy Current.
