What you're actually buying
Sky Current shares its last and midsole with Navy Current, so if one fits, both do. What changes is the upper: a much more open knit, built for running in heat.
The weave is deliberately loose across the whole forefoot rather than just the toe box. It drains and dries fast, which makes it a good summer and treadmill shoe, and a poor choice for anything below about ten degrees — wind goes straight through it.
The cream midsole is the same responsive foam as its navy sibling, so the ride is identical. If you're running year-round, a lot of people keep both and rotate them by season, which also doubles the life of each.
